Ken Creighton is Of Counsel with Guild, Gallagher & Fuller, Ltd.   He formerly was Vice-President, Deputy General Counsel of International Game Technology.  Mr. Creighton received his undergraduate degree from the University of Nevada, Reno (1975) and a Masters degree from the University of California at Davis (1978).  He received his law degree from the University of San Francisco in 1985.   Following graduation from law school, Mr. Creighton clerked for the late Hon. Melvin T. Brunetti, US Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.  He is admitted to practice law in Nevada and admitted to the US Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, the US District Court, District of Nevada, andthe US District Court for the Northern District of California.

Mr. Creighton’s practice focuses on corporate, including governance matters, commercial, securities, administrative, gaming, and employment law, as well as commercial litigation.  He previously served as the Deputy Secretary of State (1987-1988) and the Deputy Attorney General (1988-1990) for securities regulation in Nevada.     

He is a member of the State Bar of Nevada (Commercial and Gaming Law Sections), the Washoe County Bar and American Bar (State Regulation of Securities Committee) Associations.  Mr. Creighton has a Martindale-Hubbell AV Preeminent Peer Review Rating.  Mr. Creighton also serves as a Trustee to the University of Nevada, Reno Foundation.
